For their 24,000 sq ft London head office Clarion Housing Group briefed BEH with creating a functional, modern space designed to stand the test of time. The finished product is a fit-out encompassing a diverse range of products all chosen to create distinct work zoning and various neighbourhoods with unique characters throughout the floor. Three open-plan, agile working zones with no assigned desks increase the overall capacity of the office to 260 people. Soft seating areas, collaborative work settings, and various breakout spaces help avoid the feeling of a call-centre environment which function-wise accounts for a large proportion of Clarion’s personnel. Completing a high-spec office of this size in just 18 weeks - in an occupied building with extreme logistical challenges - required BEH’s advanced project management skills. The attention to detail and level of finish we achieved is something the whole team is very proud of.
